Throughout the year this category will represent an estimate of what your company will be expected to pay HMRC at the end of the year when it lodges its tax return. When you have lodged your return, this category will be locked with the actual amount you owe HMRC.

What's included

Corporation tax amount you owe to HMRC based on your taxable profits. Namely your taxable profits multiplied by 19%.

You must use this category in order for the Corporation Tax payment you make to net off against the outstanding balance in your Ember account.

What's not included

Any VAT or PAYE/NI owed to HMRC.
