Claiming for expenses prior to pre-launch and before incorporation.

Many businesses will have had expenditure prior to incorporating.

These expenses are claimable as business expenditure as long as they are wholly and exclusively for the purposes of business.

You would have likely paid these expenses on your personal card. Therefore to add to Ember please add in our expenses section for out of pocket expenses. Please date these expenses on the date of your incorporation. You can add these all on one entry by splitting the line items or add multiple transactions.

This will increase your directors loan account balance, and you can reimburse these funds owed to you when the business is in a position to do so without paying any tax on the reimbursement.
