To make sure you're off to the right start, we've put together a quick onboarding guide for you to complete when you first sign up to Ember.

  1. Connect up your bank account(s) if you haven't done so already.

  2. Or if you don't have a bank account - Add in your manual sales or expenses, so that you're all up to date.

  3. Make sure your business details are up to date under the Settings section.

  4. If you're VAT registered, make sure to Hook up your HMRC account.

If you are on our free package and need some support you can start a conversation on the Ember community forum to source knowledge from a bunch of other like-minded business owners. You can also check out our other articles on the help centre.

If you want to upgrade your package to include on-demand accounting & tax support, you can simply go to Settings > Upgrade Your Plan.
